We build our 10ft X 10ft Apex Shed to withstand the heavier elements of British weather. The pre-engineered tongue and groove cladded panels are designed for maximum weather resistance. The tongue and groove construction of this building is a much more substantial design than your normal overlap cladding, we utilise a thicker material for an overall stronger structure which will also stop rain water from entering the building.

You won’t be restricted to storing heavier goods inside due to the heavy-duty floor.

•  12mm Swedish red-wood tongue & groove shiplap.
• 38mm x 50mm Framework throughout the building (including roof and floor).
• 18mm Floor board planks consisting of floor bearers attached underneath to elevate off the ground.
• 12mm Swedish red-wood tongue & groove shiplap for the roof.
• 4mm Horticultural glass.
• 40kg Heavy duty modified bitumen mineral felt which is individually nail tacked on and not stapled.
• Water based treatment throughout the building to help against rotting, fungal and insect attack.
• Fully framed throughout and screwed together during the manufacturing process and not stapled thus making it a much more stable building.
• Galvanized nails are used throughout as well as every cladded timber being double nailed for extra strength.

Even though we give our buildings a water-based treatment prior to delivery, we still recommend treating the building with an oil or spirit-based treatment for better protection against water absorption. This will also prolong the life of the building and maintenance.

All our buildings come in metric sizes which means that sizes can vary. Please contact us if you require the specific sizes of a building.
