What is an Apex Shed?

Apex sheds are named after their unique roof shape. Unlike regular pent sheds, which have a single slope, these types of sheds have two slopes that meet at the top. This design creates a pointed roof, which is why they’re called "apex."

In a pent shed, the highest point is usually where the door is, and it slopes down to one side. But in an apex shed, the roof goes up evenly from both sides to the middle, giving it a more balanced look. This design also helps with how tall the inside of the shed feels, giving you more room to move around.

Apex sheds come in different sizes and heights, making them great for various uses. If you want to use your shed as a workshop or DIY space, an apex shed might be the best choice. Most of our sheds come with a strong polyester green felt roof, but you can choose different types, like heavy-duty felt, onduline, rubber, felt tiles, or cedar shingles, to match your style and needs.

Each apex shed 10 x 8 also comes with sturdy window frames made from high-quality wood and toughened glass. You can customize the windows using our special tool. For example, you can choose two fixed windows, one opening and one fixed window, or just one opening window.
